and Fees
Lesson etc. Fees
Fees
are based upon attendance at a 30 minute lesson or Parent and Child session or
1 hour Junior, Intermediate or Senior Squad by one or more members of a family* during
a week. The fees for 2010 are:-

The above prices
are subject to change, however every endeavour will be made by SWIMMERS to give advance notice of any change.
Term Payments
A discount of $1 per lesson (or Squad or Parent & Child session)
will apply for fees which are paid in advance of the commencement date of a term or within 2 weeks of the commencement date
of a term.
Booking Fee
$28 at time of booking in a
child and refundable when leaving SWIMMERS (see note 4 below).
Other Classes
For prices of the DeepWater Course, Junior Development Squad and Life
Saving Bronze courses please contact SWIMMERS.
Club, Advanced and Top Squad
The
fee for all three squads, Club, Advanced and Top, for Season 2010/2011 is $100 per month (or by weekly or fortnightly payments
as arranged with SWIMMERS). Discounts apply for children from the same family.
Club Membership

The Club membership fee (which enables a member to receive Swimming Victoria
registration) for Season 2010/2011 is:

Lesson Fees

A $1.00
per lesson discount will apply for fees which are paid in advance of the commencement date of a term or within 2 weeks of
the commencement date of a term.
Lesson Times
Lessons are conducted Monday to Friday from 9.00am
to 12 noon, and 4.00pm to 7.00pm. They are also conducted on Saturday mornings between 8.30am and 11.30am.
Lesson Policies
A place in a lesson or squad is given on an acceptance by the student or a parent/guardian of the student
of the following policies.
1. Enrolments in lessons are for a minimum of 1 term. Students are not required
to contact Reception at the end of each Term to retain their scheduled class. Students need only contact
Reception if they desire to change their scheduled class or will be discontinuing classes.
2. Weekday morning lessons will consist of
a maximum of 4 students.
3. SWIMMERS reserves the right to cancel classes due to low class numbers or instructor unavailability.
Students will be transferred to a class of an equivalent level and to an acceptable time and day.
4. At the time of booking
into a class students are required to pay a booking fee of $28. A
student’s position in a class will not be confirmed until the fee is paid. Students will be refunded
their booking fee, less any outstanding fees that may have been incurred, when they have their final class.
5. Places in a class are
given on the acceptance by students they will attend all of their scheduled classes for a term. Terms basically
correspond to government school terms.
6. No classes are conducted on public holidays whenever they fall due during a term.
7. SWIMMERS will endeavour
to supply students with the instructor of their choice. When the class instructor is temporarily unavailable
SWIMMERS will provide a suitable replacement. Students who do not attend such classes will be required
to pay the lesson fee. Make-up lessons are not available in these circumstances.
8. Students who do not attend lessons or squad
over a period of 2 consecutive weeks and who have not paid for those missed sessions will forfeit their positions
unless suitable arrangements have been made with Reception.
9. Students who have fees outstanding at the end of a term may forfeit their position
in a class.Students who have fees
outstanding at the end of the year will forfeit their position in a class.
10. All outstanding fees must be paid before
a student can attend their next lesson; be reinstated into their class; or, is moved to a different class.
Weekly Payment
The following additional
policies apply to students who elect to pay fees weekly.
11. Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes. Students are required to pay the appropriate
lesson or squad fee each week of the term regardless of whether a lesson or squad is missed.
12. Students who do not attend a scheduled lesson or Squad are
required to pay the lesson or squad fee for the missed lesson when the student attends the next lesson or, at the latest,
within 2 weeks or may be removed from the timetable.
13. Students who miss a lesson or squad and have paid for that missed class are entitled to a make-up
lesson.
14. Make-up
lessons must be taken within a period of 12 months with a maximum of 9 make ups being recorded at any one time.
Make-up lessons must be taken in addition to regular lessons (i.e. they cannot be taken instead of
lessons). Any make-up lessons not taken by the end of the 12 month period will be forfeited as will any
which exceed 9.
15. A student
who does not attend or cancels a scheduled make-up lesson will forfeit that make-up entitlement.
16. Students or their parent must report
to Reception and pay for the class before the commencement of the class. They must ensure
their attendance and their payment are noted.
Term Payment
The following additional
policies apply to students who have made a Term payment.
17. Students are required to attend their scheduled classes. Students who do not attend a scheduled lesson
or Squad are expected to attend a make-up class.
18. A student who does not attend or cancels a scheduled make-up class will forfeit that make-up
entitlement.
19. Make-up
lessons must be taken before the end of the 12 month period with a maximum of 9 make ups being recorded at any one time.
Make-up lessons must be taken in addition to regular lessons (i.e. they cannot be taken instead of
lessons). Any make-up lessons not taken by the end of the 12 month period will be forfeited as will any
which exceed 9.
20. Students
or their parent must report to Reception before the commencement of the class. They must ensure their attendance
is noted.
21. Refunds,
for any reason, will be subject to a 5% Administration Fee.
Policy on Swim Nappies
In the interest of Public Health Swimmers has a strict policy in regards to children who are not toilet trained.
These children MUST wear Swimmers approved swim nappies during lessons or they will not be
permitted to enter the pool.
Policy on Smoking
SWIMMERS is strictly a “No Smoking”
zone. No smoking is permitted anywhere within the boundaries of Swimmers.
